Diversity and Gender Equality

Businesses have a social responsibility and legal obligations for preventing discrimination and promoting of diversity and gender equality.

Augeo-RH organizes seminars and training for HR managers, managers and employees, which duration and formats are adapted to the business projects (case studies, theatrical animation …).

Augeo-RH’s European Network enables to organise a pan-european or worldwide programme.

By law, employers are responsible for the health and safety of their employees. They must roll-out actions aimed at prevention, awareness and good working conditions. Laws in EU countries prohibit mobbing and sexual harassment, as well as discrimination, and promote gender equality.

Beyond the need for compliance, it’s all about the health of employees, corporate image, and performance.

Discrimination and Gender Equality

  • Directive 2000/78/EC of 27 November 2000, establishing a general framework for equal treatment in employment and occupation. It points out that harassment can be linked to discrimination.
  • Directive 2006/54/EC (op. cit.) recasts the previous directives about gender equality at work.

La loi du 4 août 2014 pose le principe de l’interdiction de soumissionner aux marchés publics pour les personnes qui ont fait l’objet, depuis moins de 5 ans, d’une condamnation définitive pour le délit de discrimination ou pour violation des dispositions relatives à l’égalité professionnelle entre les femmes et les hommes et pour celles qui, au 31 décembre de l’année précédant celle du lancement de la consultation, n’ont pas mis en œuvre l’obligation de négociation et qui, à la date à laquelle elles soumissionnent, n’ont pas réalisé ou engagé la régularisation de leur situation.
